Becoming a parent doesn’t automatically mean that you magically possess all of the necessary knowledge in the universe — it just means you’re supposed to act like you do. And that’s a lot of pressure.
In reality, parenting often involves wearing the same shirt multiple days in a row, juggling a ridiculous number of schedules and activities, and answering a barrage of nonsensical questions from tiny humans. The pursuit of parenting “perfection” is fruitless because life is inevitably going get a little bit messy from time to time, particularly when you have kids in tow.
